Rev. Naim Ateek, Jerusalem
Naim Ateek, born in the Palestinian village of Beisan, is a Palestinian priest in the Anglican Communion. He served as Canon of St. George’s Cathedral in Jerusalem. In 1991 he founded the Sabeel Ecumenical Liberation Theology in Jerusalem. He has been an active leader in the shaping of Palestinian Liberation Theology. He is the author of Justice and Only Justice, A Palestinian Theology of Liberation
