Many Rivers to Cross–Festival of Music, Art and Justice!

This weekend , a social justice music festival, initiated by Harry Belafonte, is taking place just west of Atlanta on a farm in Chattahoochee Hills.

The line-up of performers is long and varied, ranging from the Dave Matthews Band to Carlos Santana to Rebel Diaz to T.I.

Cornel West will be speaking also.

GPJC will have a table in the Social Justice Village, giving us an opportunity to engage with thousands of people potentially.

We will have a variety of literature including a flyer about the upcoming Oct. 13 program with Black Agenda Report founder, Glenn Ford, analyzing the real danger of expanded war under Trump or Clinton.

We encourage you to check out the website for Many Rivers to Cross and join us at this multi-faceted progressive event. Here is the link to their website:

And please stop by the GPJC table and say hi (or volunteer to help staff for a while).
