SIGN THE PETITION BY CLICKING ON THE BLUE LINKS BELOW!!!

On April 17th, Alaa Yasin began a hunger strike at Stewart Detention Center in Lumpkin, Georgia. Alaa is a 27-year-old Palestinian man who wants nothing but his freedom! He has asked to be deported or released, but Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) refuses to act, despite holding Alaa past their own 180 day deadline for action!

Will You support Alaa by signing the petition for his release?

Alaa has done everything he can to comply with ICE and staff at CCA. Unlike many others being held at Stewart (there is no right to an attorney for immigrants), he has legal representation helping to pursue his freedom. Yet, even his lawyer’s requests for answers go unheard.

Sign the petition and tell ICE to comply with their responsibilities immediately  and either deport Alaa or release him!

Thank you all for your support!

We are also asking community leaders to call and/or write personal letters of support for Alaa and mail them to:

Chris Cronen, Field Office Director
Immigration and Customs Enforcement
180 Ted Turner Drive, Suite 522
Atlanta, GA 30303
Phone: 404-893-1290

You will need to mention the name “Alaa Yasin” and his “A#:202 090 024”

Sample Script:

Ask to speak with ICE Field Offcie Director, Christopher Cronen.

“As of April 17th, 2016, Alaa Yasin, A#:202 090 024 has gone on a hunger strike, requesting that ICE just give him a date when they will deport him or release him. His parents are still in Palestine and he also has family, as well as many friends, in the U.S. ready for his release and ready to support his release in any way necessary.
I am asking the Atlanta ICE Field Office to comply with their responsibilities immediately and either deport Alaa or release him on supervised release.”

Thanks all!
