2015 Pastors for Peace caravan will stop in Atlanta on Tuesday July 7

The 2015 Pastors for Peace caravan will stop in Atlanta on Tuesday July 7.  This year’s caravan celebrates 26 years of solidarity with the Cuban people, taking much-needed material aid to them. Although the blockade and travel ban have not been lifted yet, earlier this year the Freedom to Export to Cuba Act of 2015 was introduced in the Senate and the Freedom to Travel to Cuba Act of 2015 introduced in the House.  We are very close to finally accomplishing what our Cuban brothers and sisters have been asking us to work towards all of these years!

The traditional potluck and public event will take place at
Friends Meeting House
701 W. Howard St. Decatur Ga. 30030
Please bring a dish to share and a donation for the caravan’s expenses.
Potluck starts at 6:30 pm.
We are collecting  100 lbs. of medical supplies from Medshare International
[ http://www.medshare.org/  ]. Please let us know if you are interested in helping to pay for a donation to Medshare by contacting AtlantaPeaceCaravan@cinnamontraveler.org or Atlanta4Cuba@yahoo.com .
In solidarity,
Bernardo Gomez
